Pizza and Batteries

Here I am, letting Shane drive around my car (that has actually been really good to me since I reunited with it). He loves it because it picks up speed really well, goes up all the hills around here fairly well. Ever since I showed up last Saturday, it's been my car that we've gone around in, him driving because he likes it so much.

We stopped at Walmart to get a watch I bought him a few months ago resized and bought a few other things before planning to go to Pizza Hut for dinner.

Dinner was nice, it included a thought-provoking debate on what would happen if we took a camera back in time to the Renaissance era (as it was the era I would chose to visit back in time).

Went out to my blue beast (my car), got in and noticed the dome lights didn't come on, and tried to start it. Yeah, it didn't do anything. I realized that I had a lot of battery acid on my cables connected to the battery so it was no wonder it didn't start. We called for a jump, and had to have someone follow us back to Shane's as we were worried it would die on us going up all the hills we had to go up. We made it into his driveway and it was done. Unfortunately, my car wont lock because it's all electronic and I can't pop open my trunk like I usually do, so it's created a few problems. I think the battery itself is in good shape, but it's a matter of taking out the battery and scrubbing it with baking soda and water to get the acid off.

Ciao.

Crazy Times

So, I'm sure a few of you are wondering what's been happening. I went to the dentists, as I might've mentioned before and to cut it short, I was put on an emergency list for a jaw surgery that carried the ridiculous price tag of $20,000+. Basically, I am nowhere close to affording the $18,000 that I'd pay after my insurance deductible so it was out.

But I used this as a way of surprising Shane in Idaho. I was in NH at the time and said I wouldn't get out to ID until after the surgery (which I couldn't afford, but he didn't know that). So while he suspected I was in NH, I was really in Idaho Falls, preparing for the ten hour drive to Lewiston. So, I planned to surprise him, along with the most important help from his friend Phil. It went completely smoothly, Shane was blown away and he couldn't eat for a few hours as his stomach was in knots. It was nice, really nice.

So now, I am in Idaho, staying at Shane's for the time being. We'll be going to NH soon, moving in fact. My mom is getting a divorce, sadly, and I want to be there for her.

I've a busy weekend including a trip to the Seahawks Training Camp on Saturday, my 6-month anniversary with Shane and a trip up to Coeur D'Alene to visit his sister (who is working at Silverwood).

Ciao.
